SSC Gross Motor Indoor Play equipment for Pre K and younger is designed to provide opportunities for fun gross motor play activities as well as to contribute to critical developments of balance and risk taking. All are flexible in use, lightweight and can be easily transported to different areas. Stepping Stones are used with toddlers and twos to encourage risk taking. The stones often provide a mental perception that you are up high and stepping across open space which can be a fun and ‘scary’, while safe, experience. Freeform indoor playground areas using the Rock, Rolls, Tumbler, Steps and Slides can be created with SSC Shock Absorbing Mats sized to suit your area requirements. Balance Beam options, Rock and Stepping Stones may also serve as tools for spotting potential balance issues for any age in early childhood. The Jump Mat allows a child to jump as far as he/she can and land on a shock absorbing surface which is segmented to note the length of a jump. At a low level, it is a fun activity which allows an experience of physical force created by a child and the effect it has on movement.
Sit or lie on it; roll it over and rock on it. Pure fun and a great way to develop balance skills.
This eight-piece set provides a fun pathway for for use in developing coordination and balancing skills. The beams are made of the same sturdy material as used by young gymnasts in training. The 2 1/2" height provides a safe as well as challenging experience and Velcro attachment permits flexibility in creating layouts..
